Who we are
Created in 2004, the Femmes Vignes Rhône Association was born, thanks to the initiative of Anne Hugues, a wine producer in the Lubéron at Domaine de la Royère, and Inter Rhône, who has followed its progress since its inception.
The Femmes Vignes Rhône are all wine professionals in the Rhône Valley, and cover many different roles within the network. They are wine producers, brokers, enologists, as well
as sommeliers or in charge of communication, commercialisation and marketing of wine and wine tourism.
Our aim
Grouping together women from all horizons, nationalities and ages, it is an association of energy, support and good humour.
This richness encourages open, constructive and helpful exchanges. The Femmes Vignes Rhône promote the feminine role within the traditionally masculine environment of wine
producing by promoting values as cooperation as opposed to competition.
