Château La Sable
Virginie Mercier and her husband, Jean-Marc, acquired Château La Sable end of 2017. Virginie, who manages the estate, became passionate about viticulture when studying Agronomy in Montpellier. They are working to revive the estate and have been farming organically since 2018.
Château la Sable is one of the oldest independent wineries in the Luberon Appellation. The oldest vines on the estate are 50 years old. The vines, which are located at an altitude of 250m, in a sandy soil at the bottom of the Luberon mountain, give fine and elegant wines.
