Danielle has always had a profound love of the very special place in which her family has been producing wines since 2006. After studying wine production in England and learning the ropes over several vintages in the Southern Hemisphere, she returned home to manage Chêne Bleu’s export markets, and assist in the vineyard, winery and tasting room.
Chêne Bleu is nestled high up in the wild forests of the Dentelles de Montmirail, with plots of beautiful, old-vine Grenache and Syrah (65 yrs) at an altitude of 450 to 550 metres. A geologically complex terroir reveals wines of great elegance, character and ageability, which are
made within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, in respect of the natural environment.
